Most bulldogs are fairly relaxed so it’s important to find an activity they enjoy for exercise. Some enjoy chasing balls, others enjoy chasing people, and some enjoy a good long walk. But regardless of how your bulldog gets exercised, it’s important to do so because bulldog tails, which are straight or screwed, can become inverted if they gain too much weight. It’s wise to walk your bulldog on a harness instead of a collar because it’s easy to damage a bulldog’s trachea by pulling too hard. If it’s important to you to have an active dog, the Bulldog isn’t for you. A Bulldog’s default setting includes sleeping, farting and snoring.
Once a week. Expect your bulldog to shed nearly every day. A soft brush will help to keep shedding down. It’s important to clean the folds on a bulldog’s nose and under the body because they trap dirt and can be prone to infection. You’ll find you may need to wipe the drool from your bulldog’s mouth regularly.
High protein, low carbs, and no wheat as they have a tendency to put on weight and many have allergies. Many bulldogs eat a half cup of food in the morning and a half cup in the evening. Inquire with your vet how much your bulldog should be eating daily
